You are blindfolded and 100 coins are placed in front of you on the table. You are allowed to touch the coins but you can’t tell whether they are facing heads or tails by touching them. You are told that there are 50 coins head up, and 50 coins tails up but not which ones are which. Can you make two piles of coins each with the same number of heads up? You can flip the coins any number of times. Can you generalise the solution if you are told n coins are heads up and 100-n coins are tails up?
